Refund and Payment Policy

This policy governs how you pay for sessions on the AriesLift Platform and the limited circumstances in which refunds are available. It covers billing currency, service fees and taxes, the session return policy, the refund procedure, chargebacks, account expiration, and how payments and Trainer payouts are processed.

AriesLift Refund and Payment Policy

Your purchase of and payment for sessions shall be regulated by this Refund and Payment Policy.

Please read it carefully before making a payment, as it determines your rights with regard to your purchases, including essential restrictions and exclusions.

AriesLift strives to ensure a clear understanding of financial relations between Trainees and Trainers with respect to the services we provide. This policy applies to all services and features made available through the Website and any related AriesLift mobile device application (collectively, the “AriesLift Platform”). Capitalized terms used and not defined herein shall have the respective meanings ascribed to them in AriesLift Terms of Service.

Trainer-Trainee Transactions

AriesLift facilitates contracts between Users (Trainees and Trainers) by providing a platform to request, deliver and pay for coaching services. AriesLift is only a platform and in no event shall be a party to any contracts between Trainers and Trainees or be responsible for any other service or materials provided by a Trainer. AriesLift will in no way be responsible for monitoring any transactions between Trainees and Trainers.

Billing Currency and Foreign Exchange Risk

Payment transactions will be processed in one of the available currencies, as shown at checkout. Currently, the currencies available to make payments are USD, EUR, and GBP.

For your convenience, prices may also be shown in your local currency other than USD, EUR, and GBP. In this case, the payment transactions will be processed in USD. The prices you see in currencies other than USD, EUR, or GBP are indicative (for guidance only).

Note that if your selected currency is (a) other than USD, EUR, GBP, or (b) different from your payment method’s billing currency, your payment may be processed outside of your country of residence. As a result, certain fees may apply, such as international transaction fees and foreign exchange fees, and the amount listed on your bank statement may be different from the amount shown at checkout.

AriesLift shall not be responsible for any such fees and currency fluctuations and AriesLift hereby disclaims all liability in that regard.

We suggest you contact your bank or credit card company if you have any questions about the fees or the applicable exchange rates.

Fees and Taxes

AriesLift charges service fees to Trainees and Trainers for the use of the AriesLift Platform and associated services. These service fees are subject to applicable taxes as required by local laws (Value Added Tax (VAT), Goods and Services Tax (GST), or similar taxes). The amount of applicable taxes charged depends on the jurisdiction and is calculated based on the total service fees payable by the User.

All service fees and applicable taxes (if any) are disclosed to Trainers in the “My Profile – Pricing” section of their accounts and to Trainees before completing a purchase. More details about service fees and applicable taxes can be found below.

In certain jurisdictions, tax regulations may require that we collect and/or report tax information about Trainers, or withhold taxes from payouts to Trainers, or both. If Trainer fails to provide us with documentation that we determine to be sufficient to support any such obligation to withhold taxes from payouts to the Trainer, we may withhold payouts up to the amount as required by law, until sufficient documentation is provided.

Trainers agree that AriesLift may issue invoices or similar documentation for VAT, GST, consumption, or other taxes for the coaching services on their behalf to facilitate accurate tax reporting.

Where sessions are not used and expire in accordance with the applicable expiration policies, the Trainer agrees that AriesLift may, at its discretion, include the amounts paid for such sessions as part of the service fee charged to the Trainer.

AriesLift reserves the right to modify service fees, including for promotional offers or new products, at any time. Users will be notified of any such changes before they take effect.

Except as otherwise provided on the AriesLift Platform, service fees and any applicable taxes are non-refundable.

Trainers providing coaching services within AriesLift Marketplace to Trainees located in the European Union (EU) may be subject to VAT in the EU Member State where the Trainee resides.

As a Trainer, you are solely responsible for:

  1. determining the correct VAT treatment of your coaching services;
  2. ensuring compliance with EU VAT obligations, including registration, collection, remittance of VAT and issuance of VAT invoices where required.

AriesLift Commission

AriesLift charges Trainers a service fee for the use of the AriesLift Platform (“AriesLift Commission”). AriesLift Commission is charged on each session conducted by the Trainer at the rate indicated on the AriesLift Platform.

Processing Fee

AriesLift charges Trainees a service fee for the use of the AriesLift Platform (“Processing Fee”). The Processing Fee is applied to each purchase made on the AriesLift Platform and will be displayed at checkout.

Adding Extra Sessions

If you are a AriesLift Business User and have used up all of the sessions in your account balance, you can buy sessions on an ad-hoc basis. You can add up to 8 sessions in a single transaction. Refunds for extra sessions are available upon request within 90 days of purchase. AriesLift is not responsible for any fees charged by banks or third-party payment processors and will not cover them when initiating a refund.

If you are a AriesLift Marketplace User, the top-up policy is governed by the terms outlined in the AriesLift Subscription Services Term.

Session Return Policy

Unconfirmed Sessions

If a session remains unconfirmed for 30 days, and no issue has been reported by the User, it shall be considered that the session did not happen, and the corresponding session will be returned to the Trainee’s balance. The returned session shall expire according to AriesLift Terms of Service.

Issue Reporting and Resolution

The User has up to 30 days from the date of a session to report any issue related to that session. If an issue is reported but the session does not reach resolution within 30 days, it shall be considered that the session did not happen, and the corresponding session will be returned to the Trainee’s balance.

Refunds

You are required to send your refund request to arieslift-support@ariesview.com.

If there are extenuating circumstances that caused you to miss the session or cancel it at short notice, these refunds can be made at the Trainer's discretion, but the Trainer is not obligated to do so.

AriesLift is not responsible for any fees charged by banks or third-party payment processors and will not cover them when initiating a refund.

If you choose a refund option, its speed and the availability of refunded funds in your bank account will depend solely on your bank’s terms and policies. The exact refund amount will depend on the USD to your payment method’s currency exchange rate valid on the date the refund is initiated.

You may receive only one refund per request.

No refund will be issued if the User has lost and/or forgotten their login credentials (username and passwords), which has resulted in the loss of data, temporary loss of access to the User's account, or any other inconveniences for the User.

No refund will be issued if the User has lost connection due to the absence of Internet access, factory reset, or updates.

Refund Procedure

To request a refund, please email arieslift-support@ariesview.com with the following information:

  • Date and time of the session
  • Reason for requested refund
  • Name of your Trainer

The refund decision shall be made within 30 calendar days.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, any refunds at any time are at our sole discretion.

(1) Sessions Packages

If the trial session didn't take place, you can request (a) a free trial session with another Trainer that you'll choose on the AriesLift Platform or (b) a refund of the payment in accordance with the refund procedure described herein.

In case your scheduled trial session didn't take place but was accidentally confirmed, you can request (a) the transfer of sessions to another Trainer or (b) a refund of the payment in accordance with the refund procedure described herein.

The refund option is available only within 90 days of the date you made the payment. AriesLift is not responsible for any fees charged by banks or third-party payment processors, and will not cover them when initiating a refund.

If you fail to submit a refund request within the stated period, you can still request us to return the sessions to your AriesLift account balance. Such sessions may subsequently be scheduled with any other Trainer.

(2) Subscription

The refund policy for subscriptions is outlined in the AriesLift Subscription Services Term.

Chargebacks

In the event of a chargeback by banks or third-party payment processors in connection with your purchase of any session, you agree that we may suspend access to any and all accounts you have with us.

Fees and expenses incurred as the result of chargebacks or other payment disputes brought by you, your bank, or a third-party payment processor shall be covered by you.

Expired Account

If you haven’t logged into your AriesLift account for more than 180 days, your account will be suspended and your remaining balance will expire.

Deletion of an Account

If you decide to delete your AriesLift account, your remaining balance will expire.

In case AriesLift suspends or terminates your account due to a breach of any of our policies, you understand and agree that you will receive no refund or compensation for any unused balance or scheduled sessions.

Payment Services

Payment processing on the AriesLift Platform is provided by third-party payment processors, allowing us to (a) bill the Trainees in lieu of directly processing the credit/debit card information; and (b) enable payouts to the Trainers.

For the avoidance of doubt, payment made by the Trainee to AriesLift shall satisfy the Trainee’s obligation with respect to the payment to the Trainer for the coaching services provided via the AriesLift Platform.

We use an integrated iframe for checkouts from third-party payment processors, and Trainers get payment for each confirmed session. Correspondingly all transactions are secured as third-party payment processors use SSL encryption protection.

Data Provided by You

You agree and understand that the billing information you provide to make payment for sessions via the AriesLift Platform is processed by third-party payment processors only. AriesLift does not collect, store or otherwise process your billing information.

You agree that AriesLift will not be responsible for any failures of the third party to protect such information adequately. The processing of payments will be subject to the terms, conditions, and privacy policies of third-party payment processors in addition to this policy.

You acknowledge that we may change third-party payment processors and require them to transfer your information to other service providers that encrypt your information using secure socket layer technology (SSL) or other comparable security technology.

Payments

Payment methods available on the AriesLift Platform are the payment methods shown at checkout.

All payments for the use of the AriesLift Platform, including service fees and applicable taxes (if any), and all payments for the coaching services shall be made exclusively through the AriesLift Platform.

Trainees are also responsible for payment of all transaction fees related to the service fees, applicable taxes (if any) and payments for the coaching services.

Payouts

Trainers get payments for each confirmed session. To receive the payment, Trainers should use one of the third-party payment processors available on the AriesLift Platform for secured transactions.

Please note that third-party payment processors charge a fee for every transaction. Such transaction fees shall be deducted from the respective payout amount and will be displayed within the AriesLift Platform.

To be able to withdraw money from your AriesLift Trainer account, you must provide us with the payout details requested within the AriesLift Platform and complete any onboarding steps required by the third-party payment processor.

Trainers are responsible for their own taxes, including determining, reporting, and remitting any taxes applicable to the payouts they receive.

Auto Refills

When you purchase a package of sessions on the AriesLift Platform, you may be charged on a recurring basis (“Auto Refill”). When you have one or fewer sessions left with the Trainer, the same package of sessions as previously bought by you will be added to your account balance by charging your saved payment method.

Auto Refill may be canceled at any time, and its settings may also be changed. You may choose the number of sessions you wish to be automatically refilled for each Trainer by changing these settings in the “Payment methods” section of your account settings.

Other

AriesLift is not a bank or any type of financial institution and does not provide any financial services or advice. Any payments made via the AriesLift Platform are made solely for the purpose of access, facilitation, and delivery of the coaching services between Trainees and Trainers. Such payments may not be made and used for any fraudulent, criminal or illegal activity as defined by the law.
